Cantabile Vocal Ensemble
Singers in Cantabile Vocal Ensemble enjoy the highest level of musical rigor experienced by young singers in Columbia Choirs. Young men whose voices have changed and young women in high school sing together in this award-winning mixed choir. Members are challenged weekly by rehearsals focused on advanced vocal and choral technique. A broad and challenging musical repertoire introduces singers to important moments and viewpoints in music history.
Cantabile Vocal Ensemble performs in the Columbia Choirs concert series and in the community throughout the year. Cantabile also travels the world to tour destinations such as Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Spain and throughout the United States.
Experienced singers will be admitted to Cantabile upon audition or by promotion from Bel Canto.
