Tuition is an annual music instruction fee which is paid in five bi-monthly payments (September through June).  Tuition payments are made to Columbia Choirs, Inc. (CCI) prior to the first rehearsal of each bi-monthly instruction cycle. Watch your email for an invoice which has a button to click for paying online using your credit card, or schedule your online bill pay to be sent to:

Columbia Choirs

Each member family’s responsibility is to pay tuition on time.  Tuition is the sole source of funding in keeping the choir operating and flourishing. Tuition paid to “Columbia Choirs” is your cost for music education instruction and covers payment of professional instructors, accompanists, assistants, venue rental, use of music, etc.

In the rare instance where there will be a delay in sending tuition payment, immediately call 206-406-3511 or email the Administrative Assistant and let us know.  If a family’s tuition is late and they have not contacted us, they are expected not to send the singer to rehearsal (or performance) until the family’s tuition account is current or until they have discussed the situation with us.  Contact our Administrative Assistant with any questions regarding tuition for music instruction.

Financial Aid is available by written application. Eligibility is established by paying the first month’s full tuition. During the first month, application for financial assistance may be made to the choir’s support organization, Columbia Choirs Association (CCA).  Financial Aid is available for tuition, retreat, tour, etc.  Once you become a member of the choir, log in to the Treble Clef and go to the Financial Aid page for more information.

Payments for other activities: CCA sponsors activities in support and enhancement of the choir singing experience (retreats, camps, uniforms, tours, fundraising, CD sales, annual concert series, transportation, etc.).  Payments for these activities are made separate from music instruction tuition payments. Each family participating in the above activities shares equally in the activity’s expenses and pays its share to the CCA.
