Our existence relies heavily on the generous donations from our members, as well as public and private sponsors.
COLUMBIA CHOIRS ASSOCIATION (CCA) is dedicated to ensuring that every singer accepted into Columbia Choirs will be able to participate in all Columbia Choirs activities regardless of his/her financial circumstances. The primary motivation behind this dedication is simply that we see the benefit to individual children and adults of participating in choir, we understand that such participation helps children grow into strong and generous adults, and we see the benefit to our community of offering the gift of music. We also appreciate the value of a diverse choir, one which includes people from a wide variety of backgrounds, and which will help to foster understanding and acceptance between these people as they grow through choir. The by-laws of CCA require that a minimum of 80% of our revenues after operating expenses be used for scholarship.
